I Dream Of You (Felix Johansen - TONO/NCB) The days ahead So black and blue Living my life Is all I can do But everyday I dream of you Not long ago In better times I loved to lie - down With you on my arm Now all the time I dream of you When it was dark Could barely think Fought night and day Tried not to sink And all the time I dreamt of you Instrumental theme I’m still alive Singing this song Though my breath is short My love is strong Cause all the time I dream of you Not long ago In better times I loved to lie - down With you on my arm Now all the time I dream of you The days ahead So black and blue I live my life That’s all I can do But everyday I dream of you Yes everyday I dream of you

A NOTE ON THE FRIDGE (Felix Johansen - TONO/NCB)
You left me a note on the fridge Christmas Day. Ten written lines. I don't know what to say. Seems that you love me, seems that you care. So why did you jump in that taxi with Claire? Yeah why did you jump in that taxi with Claire? I try to act normal, I´m doing my best. But my head is spinning. I can’t get no rest. I´ve called all your friends, and I spoke to your dad But hearing his loneliness just made me sad. Yeah hearing his loneliness just made me sad. Darling please come home. I can take the car. I will pick you up, no matter how far away you are. I´ve got all the presents with ribbons and all. And the ring in that box which is precious and small. I was going to ask you. Had planned what to say. But you left me a note on the fridge Christmas Day. You left me a note on the fridge Christmas Day. Instrumental-theme That text you just sent was confusing and weird. It said you´re seeing a man with a beard. Maybe you’re lonely, or maybe you’re brave But you always hated when I didn´t shave. Yeah you always hated when I didn't shave. Darling please come home. I can take the car. I will pick you up, no matter how far away you are. Life is a racetrack, it twists and it turns. It gives you some scars and some memories that burn. You think you control it. Might even feel rich. Then one day she leaves you a note on the fridge. One day she leaves you a note on the fridge.

IT'S ALWAYS A DAY TOO EARLY (Felix Johansen/Karen Halls Kulberg - TONO/NCB) He had always liked fresh air at night Been up with the sunrise and the light She looked at her dad in his big bed And her eyes were red Their son was a flower about to bloom They spent every minute in his room He had a life about to start And it broke their hearts The ones who you’ve loved and loved, and lost Will always remain a part of you Today, and tomorrow Today, or tomorrow It's always a day too early, to let them go

about

Norwegian singer/songwriter Felix Johansen has gone to Nashville and recorded some of his songs, originally released in Norwegian, working with producer and multi-instrumentalist Stacy Hogan.

Hogan has produced and mixed acts from Grand Ole Opry legends to Major Label Rock Bands.

The two Hogan-produced tracks are featuring Mike Lusk on vocals, Lusk has been backing Loretta Lynn for many years, and has performed with such stars as Martina McBride and Marty Stuart.

The EP starts with "I Dream of You" written during the corona pandemic and performed by Felix Johansen himself.

Johansen has also recorded three instrumental songs in his own studio - two of them a tribute to Hallingdal where he spent every summer in his childhood and youth.
